Walking (for Good Health?)
Walking is one of the easiest ways to get more active and is a simple and free way to become healthier. It is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. Regular walking has been shown to reduce the risk of chronic illness such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, asthma, stroke and some cancers.
Medal Routes are three short circular walking routes that start and finish at the same location. These routes are designed to take approximately 15, 30 and 60 minutes. We have created Medal Routes walks for every Fife Sports and Leisure Trust sports and leisure centre across Fife - this means that you can enjoy another activity before or after your walk and make use of the fantastic facilities in each location.
