|Q.||What is Leisure Active?|
|A.||Leisure Active is Fife Sports and Leisure Trust’s low cost membership scheme enabling you to enjoy unlimited access to all of our leisure centres across Fife.|
|Q.||What benefits do I get from joining the Leisure Active Scheme?|
|A.||The fantastic benefits of joining the Leisure Active Scheme include no joining fee, unlimited access to all centres, 6 different packages to choose from, 3 different ways to pay, no 12 month contract, corporate and concession rates. Plus, you can book your favourite activity or fitness class up to 8 days in advance.|
|Q.||What are my payment options?|
We have 3 simple methods of payment to suit you;

|Q.||I am a member, can I skip the queue?|
|A.||Yes, once you have activated your card for the first time at reception you can then use the fast track computer system which enables you to swipe your card for entry- no need to stand in a queue!|
|Q.||Do you have a family package available?|
|A||We currently do not offer a family package membership deal. However, Children aged up to, and including 17, can swim free of charge between 10am and 5pm Monday – Friday in the school summer holidays and for £1 on Saturday and Sunday all year round. They can also enjoy Quid a Kid racquet sports during the school holidays and every weekend.|
|Q.||Do you have a couple’s membership available?|
|A.||There is no current membership deal available exclusively for couples.|
|Q.||I’ve never been a member of a gym before, will someone explain to me how to use the equipment?|
|A.||Absolutely - one of our highly qualified instructors will guide you through your induction and ensure you are confident in using the equipment. Our instructors are always happy to share their knowledge and help you reach your goals- just ask!|
|Q.||I have lost my membership card, what do I do?|
|A.||If you have lost your membership card please report this to reception at any leisure centre as soon as possible. You will receive a replacement card at a charge of £3.00.|
|Q.||Can I change to a different membership deal?|
Yes, you can amend your membership at anytime by filling out the amendment form available at reception. A minimum of 30 days notice is required.
Where can I use my membership?
|A.||The fantastic benefit of having our Leisure Active membership is that you will have unlimited access to all 13 of our leisure centres throughout Fife.|
|Q.||I am retired, what are my options?|
You will be entitled to our active concession rate enabling you to enjoy our great benefits at a great price. Just take along your Myfife card or birth certificate for proof of eligibility.
|Q.||I am receiving benefits, do I get a discount?|
|A.||Concession rates are available for individuals or families who meet the eligible criteria. Proofs of awards dated within the last 12 months are required when applying for your membership. Please contact reception at your local leisure centre for more information.|
|Q.||What facilities do you have for children?|
We offer an endless list of fun activities for kids from swimming lessons and mini kickers football to birthday parties and crèche facilities. Children aged up to, and including 17, can swim free of charge between 10am and 5pm Monday – Friday in the school summer holidays and for £1 on Saturday and Sunday all year round. They can also enjoy Quid a Kid racquet sports during the school holidays and every weekend.
|Q.||I have a disability, can I use the facilities?|
|A.||Of course, each of our leisure centres has full wheelchair access. Many of our centres offer equipment which can accommodate wheelchair use and also cater for disability groups. Contact your local leisure centre to see what they can offer you.|
|Q.||Do you have a corporate membership available?|
|A||If your employer is part of our corporate membership scheme you will be entitled to a discount. Please click on the link for more information.|
|Q.||How can my company join your corporate membership?|
|A.||There is no cost involved to join. You can contact our friendly Leisure Active Sales and Membership team who will happily guide you through the quick and easy process.|
|Q.||How do I cancel my membership?|
|A.||To cancel your membership we require a minimum of 1 calendar months’ notice in writing. This can be sent to Leisure Active Admin Team, Music Institute, East Port, Dunfermline, KY12 7JA or via email to LeisureActive.Admin@fifeleisure.org.uk giving your name/membership number/address and reason for cancelling.|
How do I change my bank details if I pay my membership by direct debit?
|A.||Some banks may change your direct debits for you automatically so it is worthwhile asking your bank if they offer this service. If not, you will be required to complete a new bank mandate form (link below) and take along to any leisure centre reception, or send directly to Leisure Active Admin Team, Music Institute, Dunfermline, KY12 7JA along with confirmation of your name and membership number.
