Coronavirus (COVID-19) Level 4 – Fife Sports and Leisure Trust to close all facilities

In keeping with the Scottish Government’s announcement regarding protocols to be followed in relation to the spread and containment of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Level 4 local protection measures, we will close all facilities.

We will put the restriction to facilities and programmes from 26th December 2020. The measure will be in place until Scottish Government advice states that it is appropriate for sports and leisure facilities to resume.

Emma Walker, chief executive for Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: We are acting in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID local protection measures, and, following the confirmation that Fife is now in Level 4, we will no longer be able to offer our facilities and programmes – this measure applies to both adults and juniors.

“The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority, and we understand that customers, who have been enjoying access to our facilities and programmes since we re-opened our facilities across the region, will be disappointed. However, as we have extremely good health and safety and social distancing measures in place, we are in a good position to resume our facilities and programmes as quickly as possible when permitted.”

We are contacting programme participants, health and wellbeing programme users, clubs and Leisure Active members directly with further information.
