You may have seen reports in the local media speculating about the future of the Beacon Leisure Centre, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust would like to reassure you that no decision to close the centre has been made.
We appreciate that for our staff and customers, reports of closure are concerning. Please be assured that any decisions which affect the centre would always be communicated to our customers by the trust.
The trust is working hard to continue to deliver affordable, accessible leisure opportunities across Fife at a time of budget pressures as a result of a reduced management fee from its partner Fife Council.
As a charitable trust, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is grateful for the support of users who choose to visit our centres rather than a private gym – this means we can reinvest back into facilities and programmes for the benefit of local communities.
