I Can get active in Levenmouth

A new campaign aimed at getting more people more active and using local sports and leisure facilities has been launched in Levenmouth.

Working in partnership with Fife Council as part of the Active Fife initiative, we are promoting the range of physical activity options available in the local area to make getting active more accessible for all ages and abilities.

The ‘I Can’ campaign borrows the message developed by Levenmouth Academy’s physical education department and builds on the foundations the school’s team has established. Now, the message is being widened in the hope that more people can be reached and information about what’s on offer, and where, is now being made available on the trust’s website.

We’re encouraging people to visit our website, scan the QR code on marketing materials or access the trust’s social media pages to find out more.

Scott Urquhart, head of operations for Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “The Active Fife strategy is all about strengthening partnership working to widen access to physical activity opportunities – the I Can initiative targets the Levenmouth area to promote activities, programmes and facilities in trust and community-use sites.

“We hope by pulling local information together in one easy-to-access landing page that more people will be encouraged to get involved and ultimately make getting active a long-term objective so that more people can enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits associated with physical activity.”
