From April 2024, Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre will embark on an exciting and ambitious venue transformational project for the local community.

Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre will temporarily close its doors, and in partnership with Fife Council and Fife Cultural Trust, work will commence to rejuvenate the town’s popular venue. 

Improvements to the gym area are planned, along with the introduction of dedicated fitness studios. Substantial efforts will be committed to
revitalising the health suite, and changing areas. The modern and dynamic plan will also include upgrading and repurposing the Synthetic Turf Pitch.

Opening in late Autumn 2025, visitors can expect to see a hub of activity with extended capacity and integrated services promoting both leisure and culture.
