Pickleball is a fast-paced and exciting racquet sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, squash, and table tennis. It can be played by singles or in pairs, indoors or outside. Around 7,000 people currently play in the UK and organisers are even trying to get it included in the 2028 Olympics as a demonstration sport!
The aim of the game is to get the ball over the net and prevent your opponent from hitting it back. Players use hard paddles, a little bigger than a table tennis bat, and a light plastic ball called a wiffle ball to play. The rules and scoring are easy to follow, making pickleball a fun option for players of all skill levels. Whether you're young or young at heart, pickleball offers a fantastic activity for everyone to enjoy!

With 22 sessions across 9 venues each week, you can easily find a time and location that suits you!
Each session costs only £3.80. If you hold a Silver, Gold, Diamond, or Platinum Leisure Active membership, the pickleball sessions are included at no additional cost.

You can also hire a court to play Pickleball yourself! You can play doubles or singles in the court area. Equipment can be hired at reception before you pay. A 60-minute court hire costs £11.00 or £7.70 concession. For more details and to book contact reception on the numbers on the timetable above.
