Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, in collaboration with Fife Council, is delighted to announce upcoming works to refresh the exterior of Kirkcaldy Leisure Centre. The project is scheduled to commence on Monday, 24th July 2023, and is expected to span up to 12 weeks, weather permitting.
Throughout this period, expert contractors will work on external cleaning and cladding repainting, ensuring the facility remains in top condition. Fife Sports and Leisure Trust assures all customers that the Leisure Centre will remain open as usual, providing visitors with the full range of activities and services.
Jimmy Dunbar, Area Manager at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: "We are thrilled to take on this project with Fife Council to enhance Kirkcaldy Leisure Centre's exterior. Our customers are of utmost importance to us, and we are fully committed to minimising disruptions during the work to ensure that our classes and operations continue to run seamlessly. We are excited to see the results of the refresh and look forward to offering an even better environment for our community."
This joint effort between Fife Sports and Leisure Trust and Fife Council underscores their unwavering commitment to maintaining a top-quality facility and ensuring the utmost satisfaction of all visitors. As a result of the necessary upgrades, road users around the building may experience minor disruptions. The Trust kindly requests that all road users adhere to the traffic management systems in place during this time.
Fife Sports and Leisure Trust prioritise accessibility for all customers. Regrettably, a portion of the disabled parking bays at the side of the building will need to be temporarily reduced to accommodate the contractor's compound space. The Trust apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and encourages affected customers to utilise the accessible parking on the Esplanade.
Fife Sports and Leisure Trust encourages everyone to visit their website and follow their social media channels for updates and additional information regarding the upgrade project.
